Enrolling at SCM is an investment in your child’s future.


While we are a tuition-based school, we aim to create a community that is socioeconomically diverse. Our school offers need-based assistance to families on an annual basis. Please note that Tuition Assistance is only available at the Elementary and Primary age levels.

Who is TADS and What is the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS)?
We partner with SSS and TADS in our financial aid process. To begin your financial aid application, you will complete the TADS Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). The Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) is the cornerstone of our financial aid application process. By submitting a PFS, you’re granting TADS permission to analyze your financial information. Using their unique methodology, they estimate the amount you can contribute to school expenses and forward that estimate to us. It’s one form, for one fee, for any number of applicant children.


When is the application open for the 2024-25 school year?

The Financial Aid Application opens on October 2, 2023.


How to Complete the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS):
1. Navigate to https://sssandtadsfa.my.site.com/familyportal to begin the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS).
2. Create your Family Portal account with your email address and a password. If you have created an account with SSS or TADS in the past, log into the Family Portal as a Returning Family using the same email address and password. South Coast Montessori Partner Code is: 200513.
3. Complete a PFS. We recommend having your most recent 1040 Federal Tax Return and any W2 Statements available. You can log out of the portal at any time and return later to finish it.
4. Once all PFS sections are complete with green check marks, the “Submit & Pay” button will activate. Follow the prompts to the payment screen. The $60 fee is nonrefundable. Once your PFS is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn from the TADS system.

 

Next Steps after Completing a PFS?
1.  After you pay for and submit your PFS, the next steps will require you to upload required documents by their deadlines as part of your application process.
2.  You can log out and log back in to upload documentation if you do not have all documentation available.
3.  You are also able to edit your PFS through the Family Portal after completing the form.

 

When is the deadline for completing the Financial Aid application?

The Financial Aid Application must be completed and all supporting documentation received by February 1, 2024.
