Tuition
One school from three months through sixth grade, with a 12-month year for Primary and below.
What a year here includes
If you are comparing schools, you are probably comparing the summer too, and the hours between pickup and the end of your workday. So it helps to start with what a year here covers.
- A full year, if you need one. Infant, Toddler, and Primary run all twelve months, so there are no extra camps or child care to arrange for the summer. Primary families may choose a ten-month year instead.
- Days that can run to 5:30. Primary families can add care until 5:30 pm, and Elementary enrichment runs from 3:00 to 5:30 after the school day ends. Enrichment activities include arts and movement.
- One school, from three months through sixth grade. A child who begins in Infant moves on to Toddler, Primary, and Elementary on the same campus. Each new classroom starts with adults who already know them, and Primary includes the kindergarten year.
- Your tuition stays in the school. South Coast Montessori is a nonprofit, so what families pay goes back into the program and the community, not to an owner.

Each table shows its own unit. Infant and Toddler are monthly, Primary is annual, and Elementary is per school year.

Families who would not think of being anywhere else
Amazing school. My child has been there for 7 years now and we would not think of being anywhere else. A great education, a strong sense of community, clear communication and a beautiful campus.

Questions about tuition
What's the difference between the 10-month and 12-month Primary options?
Primary families choose either one, at any of the four day lengths. The 12-month option is our true year-round, full-day program. It means no extra camps, child care, or schedule juggling over the summer. The figures for both are in the Primary table above.
Is there a sibling discount?
Yes. In the preschool there is a 50% discount for the third child. In the Elementary there is a 20% discount for siblings. Please contact us for details.
Are there any fees beyond tuition?
Yes, some. Additional program fees may include special events, optional lunch programs, class photos, special field trips, after school enrichment programs, snacks, and other learning opportunities. The Elementary table also lists an $850 Annual Activities Fee. Applying to the school has its own fee, explained on How to apply.
