Leah

Primary Program Directress

Leah is a Santa Barbara native, a Montessori mom and a Montessori child herself.  She received her AMI Primary training from Janet McDonell at the Washington Montessori Institute in 2001 and obtained her Masters in Montessori Education from Loyola University.  Leah has taught at AMI Montessori schools in Seattle, Marin County and Santa Barbara.

Nanette

Toddler Program Teacher

Nanette is a Santa Barbara native who brings 20+ years of early childhood teaching experience. She has her Early Childhood Education teaching credential and a Primary Montessori Certification. She's very creative with a strong art background. Her goal is to create a warm, inviting classroom that will continue to promote the young toddlers developmental growth.

Rosie

Toddler Program Teacher

Rosie was born and raised in Goleta. While studying at UCSB she discovered her passion for working with young children and has been working in a preschool setting ever since. She appreciates children’s innate curiosity and respect for the world. Her goal is to provide a safe and healthy learning environment that allows children to explore and discover. 

Corina

Infant Program Teacher

Corina is a Southern California native. She has over 6 years experience in working with children and in a Montessori environment. Corina has her certificate in Early Childhood Education from Santa Barbara City College. She is committed to providing your child with a loving and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning. She plans to continue her career in Montessori programs and desires to open her own school in the future. 

Anna

Infant Program Teacher

Anna was born in Iowa and moved to Santa Barbara in 2011 to open her Alternative Health Practice. She has a master degree in International Relations and Social Change and has years of experience in teaching English as a second language to children in China, Peru and India. Anna is trained in Resources for Infants Educators founded by Magda Gerber which emphasizes authentic relationship building based on trust and respect between professional caregivers, infants and toddlers. Anna combines her experiences from motherhood and her RIE training to provide the highest quality, loving and respectful care that your child deserves.
